Benefits of using the Augmenta system for technicians

One benefit of using the Augmenta tracking system from the technician point of view is to keep the separation of concerns:

• artists can focus on content creation without needing a full set-up

• technicians can deploy the tracking system and at the end link the data to the creative content

This means that technicians can manage the deployment of the tech and ensure the quality of the tracking data. This also mean that the technicians can take care of maintenance tasks, without needing to involve the artists down the line.

The Augmenta tracking system is using concepts close to the video-mapping world. This means that technicians that are able to deploy a video-mapping setup should be able to easily understand and deploy an Augmenta tracking system. Also, the mapping process is also linked to the interactive surface calibration as you will see in this documentation.

The Augmenta system also provides out of the box automations to provide good integrations with the other software and hardware components of any interactive installation.
